Almancil Area:-

Almancil is noted for its proximity to the luxurious resorts of Quinto do Lago, which is home to four championship golf courses, and Vale de Lobo which are both homes to many first class restaurants and five stars hotels.
All of the beaches in the Almancil have been awarded the Blue Flag.

The town is also renowned for the locally produced pottery, and the little churche of São Lourenço
with 18th century blue ceramic tiles that describe the life of the saint.

The market is on the 1st and 4th Sunday of everyday, which is an ideal place to pick up a bargain
or just to have a look around at local produce.
