Armação de Péra:-
Armação de Péra suits all holidaymakers as everything can be found in the small fishing town.
A large number of restaurants to suit all tastes, bars, cafes, ice-cream parlours can all be found scattered along the narrow cobbled streets. Fresh fish and fruit market is open everyday, where also the aroma of freshly baked bread lingers in the air.
The golden beaches of Armação de Péra stretch for as far as the eye can see, needless to say it is one of the longest uninterrupted stretches on beach in the
The nearby
Albufeira is a short drive away, where you can visit the recently built marina. All of the theme and waterslide parks are a short drive away, i.e. Aqualand, ZooMarine, Krazy Golf, Slide and Splash.
Albufeira:-
Albufeira is a Portuguese city and a municipality in the district of Faro, Algarve region. Its name came from the Arabic: (al-Buħayra = "the lagoon"). Albufeira is one of the leading tourist resorts of the region. Facilities include a marina, golf courses plus innumerable hotels, apartment blocks, restaurants and bars, for the annual flood of visitors. Albufeira is a good base to explore the region with many smaller and less well known beaches within a short drive. A local culinary speciality is cataplana (steamed shellfish), a very well known dish from the Algarve region. Caldeirada (fish stew), and the simpler but also popular, grilled sardines, are also very appreciated and are traditional dishes across the entire country, especially in litoral areas.
Carvoeiro / Praia do Carvoeiro:-
Carvoeiro or more commonly Praia de Carvoeiro (although this is no longer its formal name), is a Portuguese civil parish/freguesia in the municipality/concelho of Lagoa (Algarve). This picturesque fishing village, with a long history of settlement, has grown over the last decades into the main tourist area of the concelho. It has a number of fine beaches protected by clifts. "Algar Seco", a few hundred meters along the coast east of the main square and beach, is a popular nature site where ocean wave erosion has carved out grottos, islets and “water chimneys”.
Almancil & Area:-
Almancil is noted for its proximity to the luxurious resorts of Quinta do Lago, which is home to four championship golf courses, and Vale de Lobo which are both homes to many first class restaurants and five stars hotels. All of the beaches in the Almancil have been awarded the Blue Flag. The town is also renowned for the locally produced pottery, and the little churche of São Lourenço with 18th century blue ceramic tiles that describe the life of the saint. The market is on the 1st and 4th Sunday of everyday, which is an ideal place to pick up a bargain or just to have a look around at local produce.
